Yes. Starter and Pro have a monthly option you can cancel anytime, starting at $119 a seat for Starter and $359 for Pro. Paying yearly gives you two months free. An ArcGIS Creator license is always billed yearly and paid up front, even on a monthly plan.

Starter is for one to three people running their own location work: the live map, demographics, places and competitor search, drive-time areas and file uploads. Pro adds the full playbook library, PlaceStory and reports, a connection to your own ArcGIS organization with write-back to your layers, MCP access, team roles and credit limits, and priority support. Most teams land on Pro.

Pick the monthly credits per seat that match how much you analyze; the price moves with the step you choose. Credits are pooled across your organization, and users are warned at 80% and 90%. Run out mid-month and an admin can buy top-ups at one cent a credit, starting at 5,000 credits for $50. Top-ups don't expire while your subscription is active, and they're spent only once your plan's monthly credits are used.

No — Curated sits on top of your existing Esri investment. On Pro and Enterprise, connect your ArcGIS organization and Curated reads your web maps, hosted layers and portal content, and writes back to your own layers with your approval.

Only on Pro, and only if you don't have one. Already have an ArcGIS organization? Connect it and you pay only the Curated seat. If you need one, add an ArcGIS Online Creator license for $700 per user per year, billed yearly and paid up front. Starter doesn't connect to ArcGIS.

Curated uses best-in-class spatial content from Esri, including 15,000+ demographic, economic, lifestyle, and business variables, along with rich points-of-interest data, authoritative public sources, web research, customer layers where connected, and partner content where available. Connectors included with the platform come with Pro; partner data from the marketplace is licensed separately.

Pro supports ArcGIS Identity sign-in. Enterprise adds single sign-on with SAML 2.0 or OIDC against your IdP (Okta, Entra, Google Workspace, or any SAML/OIDC provider), and SCIM directory sync for automated provisioning and deprovisioning.

Each organization gets schema-level database isolation — your data is structurally separated from every other customer. We never train AI models on customer data. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Enterprise adds a security review, a data policy, audit logs and organization governance. Curated is built and operated under SOC 2 audited controls.
